geoBoundaries data and derived figures

Data downloaded through geobounds remain subject to the applicable
geoBoundaries terms and to the original license reported for each boundary.
Use gb_get_metadata() to inspect the boundaryLicense, licenseDetail,
licenseSource, boundarySource and boundarySourceURL fields before reusing or
redistributing a boundary.

The gbOpen release contains boundaries under multiple open licenses, including
CC BY, ODbL, CC BY-SA, national open-data licenses and public-domain
dedications. It must not be assumed that every gbOpen boundary is licensed only
under CC BY 4.0. Attribution and share-alike requirements depend on the
individual boundary.

The gbHumanitarian release is mirrored from UN OCHA. Its licensing may change
and must be checked in the current boundary metadata.

The gbAuthoritative release is mirrored from the UN Second Administrative
Level Boundaries (SALB) programme. SALB data may be used only for
non-commercial purposes:

Comprehensive Global Administrative Zones (CGAZ) and figures included with
this package are derived from geoBoundaries data. They are not relicensed
under the package's MIT License. Follow the citation and use information
included in the downloaded CGAZ archive and on the geoBoundaries website.

When sharing data or derived products, provide attribution to geoBoundaries and
to the original sources identified in the boundary metadata. Include the
applicable license, a link to its terms and an indication of modifications when
required.
