Third-party material bundled with ekioplot

Most of ekioplot is copyright (c) 2025-2026 ekioplot authors and released under
the MIT license (see LICENSE.md). The brand scales in
inst/ekio-palettes.yaml are generated from the OKLCH specification in
data-raw/build-ramps.R and are original to EKIO. Third-party materials are
credited below.


Brazilian official statistics (IBGE)
------------------------------------

The `brazil_population`, `brazil_gdp`, `brazil_agriculture`, and
`brazil_agriculture_states` datasets are derived from publicly available
official statistics produced by the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e
Estatística (IBGE). They are included as transformed subsets for examples and
are not endorsed by IBGE.

Sources: SIDRA table 6579 (municipal population estimates), table 5938
(municipal GDP), and table 1612 (Municipal Agricultural Production, PAM).
Municipality and state reference fields were obtained from geobr, which
redistributes official IBGE geographic reference data. See

viridis, inferno and plasma
---------------------------

The "viridis", "inferno" and "plasma" palettes are stop samples of the
matplotlib colormaps of the same name, created by Stefan van der Walt and
Nathaniel J. Smith and released to the public domain under CC0. The
originals are 256-step colormaps; ekioplot ships 9- and 10-stop

Okabe-Ito

The "okabe_ito" palette is the color-universal-design set published by
Masataka Okabe and Kei Ito, "Color Universal Design (CUD): How to Make
Figures and Presentations That Are Friendly to Colorblind People" (2008).
